Two days mountainbike holiday - Mountainbike tours in the Axarquia

The two day mountainbike tour is ideal for real mountain bikers who can not get enough of crossing through the challenging mountains. The two day tours are perfect to combine with other outdoor activities such as canyoning or hiking. In two days you will get the time to explore the nature reserve.

You will stay in one of our tents on our plot amongst avocado, mango and olive trees. See the page Tent & Breakfast for more information. During this tour we have plenty stops to enjoy the stunning views. 

The mountainbike tour starts with a climb of 11 kilometres from sea level to 1165 metres, from the tropical valley of yards with mango and avocado trees. The small mountain roads with fabulous panoramic views lead us to and through the nature reserve of Pena Escrita. At the highest point in the park a jeep is waiting to take you to your stay at Villa Sediki.

The next day we take you to Otivar, the main entrance of the Sierra de Tejeda, la Almijara and Alhama. This is the beginning of a route of 16 kilometres through fields of olive and almond trees, alongside the Palacete de Cazulas (former residence of the marquis the Montanora) to the famous Junta de los Rios. At this point the Rio de las Chorreras and the Rio Topera become the Rio Verde. Here you are at the most famous gully of Andalusia.

At this point you can chose to hike down the path or just enjoy the lovely aqua blue lagoon. However if you have enough energy you even can go canyoning. This does require a certain sportsmanship, spirit and condition. 

At the end of the tour a jeep is waiting to take you to your stay at Villa.
